GRAPHIC DESIGN & VISUAL RESEARCH Visual Research: Review written treatments, primarily by Directors, and then collect large amounts of related images for them to sort. This is also used for "Mood Boards". Graphic Design: The selected images are then compiled and married with the final text to form a "Treatment", which is what the director/production company will use in an attempt to win a bidding war for a job. The treatment is used to convey the idea, cinematic feel and anything else important to the project. Failure to produce an aesthetically pleasing presentation can instantly endanger the job. This process is usually completed at high speed with short deadlines, and usually requires abundant communication between the Director, Producer and myself.
